Hello SIr, I am building a wordpress ecom website in elementor. I have around 50-100 products on the store, with custom fonts and design. I can feel the website loading getting slower. So far, everything is optimized using WP optimize plugin. I've made sure not to use images above 100-150kb in size. What would you suggest to improve the loading speed for my entire website other than changing the page builder, since I have already invested in elementor pro. Thank you.

For me the issue is less about speed these days but code bloat. You can clearly see all the exra code on an Elementor site. In some sites that have small amounts of content per page the HTML far outweighs the content, which can be a problem for GOOD SEO. Will be interestign to see how much difference the newer block themes are, such as Spectra One.

Hi @websquadron Imran, thanks for always being on top of the events! The off-canvas widget looks great. I was thinking it would be amazing to trigger when hovering an icon, and close it when leaving the off-canvas area. Do you think this is possible to achieve?

Having 2 Nav menus is bad practice.

What i ask myself is - Why are there no real styling options for mobile Menus in a page builder in 2023/2024? Why do we have to find work arounds? I dont know much about webdesign, but what i do know is the first rule: MOBILE FIRST! Nobody cares about nice desktop design anymore, yeah its nice to look at (for people who own a desktop and use it), but with visitor rates up to 90% coming from mobile devices these days (60.67% all of website traffic comes from Mobile Devices) nobody gives a fu** how nice your website looks on desktop.

Interesting tests and results. Did you use SiteGround for your host? If so, did you leave the server level caching features enabled or disable and flush them?

Elementor improving is a big win for the WP ecosystem as a whole. The sheer number of sites using it is so big that it will help recover the overall reputation of sites built on WP.

I like that E is improving a little bit on speed/code on each major update now. It is much faster today than 2-3 years ago. And it will probably be even faster in 6 months. It is anyway fast enough, and a couple of hundreds milliseconds does probably not matter.

I think it also comes down to the quality of the code as much as speed. Elementor still does not generate proper semantic code. It would have been interesting to have seen screen shots of the code inspector for each too.

Thanks for the info. I was just wondering by your graphic if you mean Heading and not Header. Would love to see the comparison using say a header with a simple menu, button and logo and see what happens to Elementor compared to Bricks. For what it’s worth I also use Elementor and Hostinger and I’ve gone through the whole litespeed cache and cloudflare integration on their website docs. It’s pretty messy but doable and it helped but nowhere near what I thought would be the result after that torture. However I set up a different site with Elementor and Blocksy and did a simple one click “optimize with litespeed” on the hostinger server backend and bam! I almost needed a fire extinguisher it was running so hot. $1 packs=yummy goodness.

From my own tests, Gutenberg is the fastest, with Bricks being next at almost no difference. (Less than 1% difference) Breakdance then and lastly Elementor in terms of speed. Tests done on Hostinger hosting. 3 tests on every page builder to make sure it's not the server acting funny. It's weird how the WordPress classic 98% (I'm assuming you mean Gutenberg with this?) is slow in your tests compared to the page builders.

Think I asked this on another video before but could this be used for hiding filters off canvas (specifically WP Gridbuilder filters) on mobile, then have them appearing on click of a button? Haven’t found a good solution for it in Wordpress yet it seems standard on most online shops.

I found this plugin about a year ago and it is a lifesaver. We have a lot of large corporate clients with strict security requirements and I spent hours trying to configure headers manually for them before but could never get above a C or would break some functionality enabling certain things. As soon as I got this I got them all to A+ in half hour with no issues at all!

We're seeing some funky stuff happening when using off-canvas widget with a vertical Wordpress menu that has child dropdowns. Essentially, this Wordpress vertical menu seems to be pushing the child dropdowns outside of the off-canvas area - rendering it impossible to click on child menu items. Any suggestions?

It took me hours to do this :( deleted the 3parts and kept the first. Now I have to start over ) I can not bring back the whole 4 part anymore. Also It says I can't download it as I do not have enough space!! Whats going on? I feel upset going through the whole editing as a completely beginner and now I have to start over but I worry to do so as Cup Cut doesn't allow me to download it. Do I need the paid verson for this? This was the first time I tried on my computer! I never had issues on my phone before :(

Hi Imran. Great video, as always! I have one more question on the general subject of the menu: There has been a bug in Elementor for years which has still not been fixed. I wanted to ask if you could make a workaround for this, if you have a solution. I'm sure many users would be grateful: If you apply a submenu to the WordPress menu widget, the submenu indicator always loads with a delay. As a result, the main menu always jumps every time the page is loaded. Hiding the indicator does not work either, as the spacing is maintained even though the indicator is not visible. There are discussions about this in various forums. Perhaps you can find a simple, easy-to-understand way to solve this problem. Kind regards.

Thank you for another great video! Regarding Off-Canvas Widget, there is an inconvenience that might be solved somehow, but I have no idea how: if you put a video widget inside the off-canvas, while you triggered and played it, you'll have to stop or pause the video first and after that to close the off-canvas. On the other hand, the video (audio) is still playing in the background. With the pop-up widget, when you close the pop-up, the video stops.

Another idea for use could be to trigger a "show more" button which lets slide in a (vertical?) loopgrid with all of your posts about certain service, products or simillar

I know this is mostly for menus but it may also be good for an online shop. Click item from the main screen and it slides in from the right, for example.

Thanks, Imran! I love it that you bring attention to this, as many are not aware of this. Everybody, you can also use the settings in NinjaFirewall to achieve a perfect score. What's also worth mentioning, is that you should always click the "Hide results" checkbox when you run the test. Because many doing this test for the first time will likely not have a perfect score and as your website is then displayed publicly, some bad actors could use the information to attack your website! Also, I recommend doing a deep dive into the info provided on your personal results. The links are very helpful, especially when you're new to the topic of website security. 🙂 Edit: I forgot to answer your question from the end of the video: I had and have A+ on all "my" websites but as someone who pays a lot of attention to website security, I'm not your average gal. Again, I'm so glad you made a video about this! 🙏
